Project IGI

Introduction:

           Project IGI or not Institute for Geotactical Intelligence is a first-person, shooter game. It was developed by Innerloop Studios in December 2000. This is a popular game released that year. And Eidos Interactive published this game and it was released for Microsoft Windows only. There are 14 different missions in this game. Upon release, this game garnered mixed reviews. This game includes poorly programmed artificial intelligence, lack of a mid-game save option and the lack of multiplayer features. However, it has a good sound design and graphics.

Story:

             This game was based on the Cold War between the United States and Russia. After the end of the Cold War, many arms dealers and various mafia groups rose up. Many of the weapons of the Cold War fell into the hands of arms dealers and some weapons were stolen. They also stole the W88 nuclear missile. Weapons buyers were getting stronger day by day. 

           The organization called IGI was founded by Pat Lenehan to suppress these terrorist groups. Best soldiers and scientists were recruitmented for this unit by him. There were two soldiers called Former British SAS agent David Jones (Player) and Captain Harrison recruited to it. And there was a girl called Rebecca Anya who was a computer operator. 

                One day she receives a message from a man named Joseph Priboi. He says, he knows about the W88 nuclear missile. But he is in danger. After that Jones and Captain Harrison save his life. Then Joseph says, a man named Jach Priboi involve W88 theft. After that Jones finds Jach Priboi. Jach was an uncle of Joseph. Then the IGI team finds out that Jach tried to sell the nuclear missile to a woman named Ekk. She is a head of an independent Russian mafia. After that Jones catches Jach Priboi. Then IGI finds out that she is trying to attack the European countries that helped America. After that Anya finds out about the W88 nuclear missile. But before Jones get there Ekk take the warhead of the missile and escape. After that Ekk has able to hide the missile in a nuclear power plant. Then, Jones, Anya and Harrison find that nuclear power plant. Finally, Ekk was killed by Jones and Anya was able to successfully deactivate the warhead. This was the end of Project IGI.
